Play Time
Since everyone is going stir crazy with all this bad weather, we've been getting with neighbors and friends to play more often.
Haley's first birthday was this month; this picture is from her party. Braden always loves on his little girlfriend. He loves to give her hugs and kisses!
MaMaw sent this tractor in Braden's Valentine package. He loves it...even went to bed with it one night!
Braden's friend Ryan came over to play. While their tractor ride didn't go very far, I have to give them credit for trying to share.
More Snow Photos
I'm sick of the snow, so I'm going to keep uploading pictures until you're sick of it too! :)
Just kidding - these are the last of them...unless we get more.
Braden and Chloe got stuck in my footsteps coming down the porch. It was quite entertaining to try to watch Chloe dog-paddle out and Braden trying to save her.

Snowmageddon
Here are a few more pics from Round 1 of the storm:
Braden is having fun!
The neighbors stopped for a little while; here's Braden with Lauren.
Round 2 started last night. Half of that big pile Zack and I shoveled over the weekend was blown back onto the driveway by the 30 mph winds that came with this storm. The drift on my side of the driveway was literally up to my waist...as you can see. The pile is now over my head. The wind is still howling, so I just hope my drive isn't covered back up in the morning!

Getting there...can't really decide if I'm going to shovel for Zack. The worst of it was on my side, but he did leave me in the blizzard! How nice should I be?

Blizzard Update
The Blizzard of 2010
That's what they are calling this round of weather...and it is being compared to the 1922 Knickerbocker Blizzard! I also saw this storm referred to as a snowapocolypse. (We thought both were funny!)
We went to visit some neighbors yesterday afternoon and by the time we got home, there was 6 inches of accumulation on our driveway. We shoveled the drive in hopes that it would prevent us from having to shovel 2 feet all at once. By the time we got to the end of the drive, there was already another inch of accumulation on it!
We woke up this morning to about 2.5 feet. Lots of people are out of power, including some neighbors in other sections of our neighborhood. We immediately got to work clearing a path for Chloe to go outside! Here are some pictures of our morning. It is supposed to continue snowing until about 10pm tonight!
Gotta have a little fun!
February 6th Storm
We got about six inches of snow on Tuesday. It was a really wet snow that coated all the tree branches with a thick, heavy layer. It was really pretty and the best part was that it warmed up enough the next day to melt it all!
I shoveled the driveway before going to work and Braden wanted to help. When he wasn't helping me push the shovel, he was laying down in front of me asking for my scoop to be dumped on top of him!
