We had a great day today. It was fun playing outside in the grass with Braden. He's such a happy boy!

Lily is trying to get Braden on the same schedule as the other kids, which means he'll have to give up a couple of his naps! He was exhausted last night. I put him to bed at 6:40pm and he slept until 8 this morning. I was really happy to get to sleep in. 

It was a busy week. We hired two summer associates, and they started on Monday. Besides trying to get them up to speed, we had a client advisory board (CAB) meeting on Wednesday and I went to a managed futures conference on Friday. The CAB meeting went really well - I got to put my consulting skills to use and facilitate the bulk of the meeting. Marjorie gave me a huge compliment when she said that I successfully took control of the room. Hopefully it will go a long way to building credibility with those clients. They are an impressive group of people...a Fortune 500 exec, business owners, an attorney, a political fundraiser, a retired Army General, an airplane broker, consultants, etc. Their bios are impressive and it is really exciting to work with them. Our clients are great!

Braden started sleeping on the cots with the big kids at daycare. Lily also said that he won't be using the high chair anymore. He's sitting at the table...without throwing his plate! What a big boy!

Trying Something New

Hello, Everyone! I'm thinking it probably isn't really feasible for us to continue sending out monthly photo albums of Braden for the rest of his life, and his first birthday seems like a good time to try something new.
