Lake Tahoe

Just got back from a family trip to Lake Tahoe. We didn't get in as much skiing as we would have liked, but it was still a great trip. We had lots of fun with the family. Here are a few pics!

Jeff's Wedding

My baby brother got married this week! Our family went to Lake Tahoe for a small ceremony, and we couldn't be happier. Nichole is a great girl and we are happy to welcome her to our family! And have you ever seen a more beautiful bride?

Congratulations, you two!

Recent Photos

Just thought I would share some recent pictures we've taken around the house.

Braden got his first SMU outfit for Christmas, so here he his supporting the Mustangs! Way to go on their first Bowl Victory in both of our lifetimes (well almost)!

He was worn out after church last week. He fell asleep in the car and I moved him to the couch without waking him up - he's NEVER slept on the couch before!

Braden HATES when the sun is in his eyes, but he hasn't figured out that the sunglasses actually help - until today that is. He actually left them on most of the way home..and then fell asleep. (Sunday School must be exhausting!)

Christmas Photos

Merry Christmas! I hope yours was as good as ours.

We are glad that Mom and Dad came to visit this year. Zack was scheduled to work and we thought the three of us would have a small, quiet Christmas. But Grandma and Papa decided to come!

We went to church on Christmas Eve.

We had a great Christmas Day. Braden was so much fun this year. He is old enough to play with his new toys, and he was entertained for hours. He got more toys than he know what to do with.

It took Braden all day to open presents because his attention span is so short. But it was fun to drag it out all day.

This is the first pic of him Christmas morning. He came downstairs and had a huge grin when he saw the market/kitchen that Grandma and Papa got for him. He plays with it for hours. One day he looked at me while stirring with his wisk and asked, "Eggs, Mama?"

Braden and Grandma playing cook and enjoying the meal they prepared.

He is a big fan of Elmo, so he got a couple of Elmo dolls, lots of Elmo books, and even an Elmo suitcase (which we got after Christmas) for our upcoming vacation!

Braden still loves to help clean, so Grandma and Papa got him his own set of cleaning stuff: a dust buster, broom and dustpan, iron, trash can, etc.

Sweeping in his snow boots.

He's also likes his choo-choo. He plays with the train table at daycare every morning, so Santa got him a train for home.

Braden is Papa's boy! They had so much fun together, running around the basement and playing. Braden insisted that Papa give him his bath one night - saying "Papa - Baths" and telling me "Mama, No...Go..." while pushing me away. Papa game back downstairs soaking wet! Braden is now asking everyday: "Where did Papa go?"

Giving hugs...

Playing Wii...

I think Chloe had a good Christmas too. She got some treats and new toys, so she was happy!
